As I exhaled, I watched the cigar smoke ride the breeze and break apart into chalk white slivers. In between puffs, my eyes focused on tree branches, clouds and the houses in the background. The sounds of cars rolling by calmed my mind and I realized that I was, for the first time in weeks, relaxed.
I had high hopes for my Fratello Bianco IV, but a sense of Zen was a side effect that I wasn't expecting. Thankfully, it was there and I'm grateful for it. I've been so focused on work that I lost sight of taking time for myself.

This is my first cigar review and I am very new to all of this which is why I decided to start by describing how this particular cigar experience made me feel. I'm not going to talk about the Fratello Bianco IV construction, blending or overall look. I'm not even going to take a stab at forming opinion of what I tasted. Although "peppery" is a definite flavor that I do remember savoring.
Instead, I am going to suggest you buy a Fratello because I enjoyed it so damn much. And I'm also going to suggest to everyone out there to take a long lunch hour as the weather improves and Zen out with a good smoke.
Fratello Bianco IV was purchased at Mom's Cigar Warehouse (1119 Central Park Ave, Scarsdale, New York) and cut with our handmade cigar punch.
